From May 12 to 15, 2025, a joint project monitoring and partnership visit was conducted across the Soddo Region in collaboration with Manos Unidas. The visit aimed to assess progress on ongoing projects, strengthen coordination with implementing partners, and engage with local communities supported under various project codes including ETI 77688, ETI 76916, ETI 78465, ETI 76065, ETI 77496, and ETI 77412.

The itinerary included key site visits such as the Malnutrition Rehabilitation Center and St. Mary Primary Catholic Hospital in Dubbo, St. Francis Primary School in Buccama, the lab facility at the Sisters of St. Anne in Boditi, the Humbo Clinic (supported by Fundación Allegro), and the Vocational Training Center in Konto managed by the Capuchin Fathers. The team also engaged in fruitful discussions with local partners, including the MSC Sisters, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Sisters, and ECC-SDCO/S management. A welcome meeting with H.E. Bishop Dejene of the Apostolic Vicariate of Soddo offered strategic insight into the region’s pastoral and social development efforts.

The visit concluded in Arba Minch with a debriefing lunch and coordination meeting with the SCORE implementing team. Overall, the monitoring mission reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to advancing quality education, health, nutrition, and vocational training services in the region while fostering deeper collaboration for sustainable impact.
